Since selling our first R1 Radio in November 2006, we have seen interest in our products grow faster than we ever expected! Unhappy with the audio quality of early DAB radios and convinced that we could do better, our original aim was to design a great looking and sounding radio applying our in-depth knowledge of High-Fidelity speakers.

Five years on and carried along with growing success of our radio products we have now for the time being ceased production of our speakers to concentrate fully on our ‘serious small audio’ line. During development of our radio products, we chose to call them Vita in order to save confusion with our loudspeakers, but with our future plans laid out, we now feel that the time is right for all our products to be brought under one banner with the long-standing heritage of our company name ‘Ruark’ attached.
