Released in June 2008, our R4 has quickly established itself as possibly the finest single box music system available.

To celebrate this success, in June 2011 we are launching a Limited Edition R4i, finished in a striking Sparkling Graphite high gloss lacquer with silver hue grilles. With our policy of ongoing evolution, we have enhanced tuner sensitivity, improved CD shock resistance and optimised key audio circuitry. These changes bring improved sound resolution and a sound-stage that further belies the R4i’s modest dimensions. Finally we’ve redesigned the power supply so it meets and exceeds forthcoming EU standby regulations. These changes have also been incorporated in all other R4 finishes and indeed all our dealers should now have ‘i’ specification models on display and as stock for sale. Visually R4 and R4i are identical, but they can be easily distinguished by the serial number on the unit or the gift carton. A lower case ‘i’ on the end indicates that the product is R4i specification.
